IMRP at CCSU

Effectively inspiring and sustaining a just, equitable, and inclusive Connecticut

The Mission of IMRP is to effectively inspire and sustain a just, equitable, and inclusive Connecticut through independent research and evaluation, public policy analysis and development, and community engagement. Our projects serve as catalysts for CCSU students across a wide array of academic departments to enter the public policy world and make a difference in their own communities, while reinforcing their classroom learning. Your support of the IMRP's work will allow us to continue offering valuable opportunities to students, and further our mission. Visit our website for more information about the IMRP.

Student quotes:

"Working with IMRP has been an excellent experience because of the variety or project and the networking. I have had many opportunities to do social work related tasks such as interviewing incarcerated parents. I have also had the opportunity to take charge and lead meetings which has been incredibly beneficial and educational." -Social Work student '17

"Being able to put my classroom learning to practice in the real world has been crucial for my education at CCSU. My position at the IMRP has given me confidence, and enabled me to build the skills I need for when I enter the workforce. I have also learned so much about public policy and social justice with the IMRP. I feel very fortunate for the growth I've experienced at the IMRP." -Graphic Design student '16
