EOP Scholarship

The EOP is a summer on-campus orientation program that prepares disadvantaged students for successful college matriculation at Central Connecticut State University. The first summer program was in the summer of 1969. Now in it's 49th summer, EOP is the longest program of it's kind in the state of Connecticut.

The EOP endowed fund goes to support scholarships for the most outstanding EOP alumni in each CCSU class in addition to other scholarships for achievement in different academic areas.

Some of the named scholarships are in honor of former professors, alumni, and administrators from the EOP program including: James A. Knight, the Dejesus family, Ronald Glass, and Al Martin as well as state and community leaders Governor William O'Neil and Ron F. Gilrain.
