Finish the Race

Love Wins: Finish the Race! On April 17, 2017, students from Northend Elementary School, Chamberlain Elementary School, Smith Elementary School, and DiLoreto Magnet School came to the CCSU campus to be inspired to "Finish the Race" and pursue a college education.

Formed by the partnership of CCSU and the Ana Grace Project, the event was based on the idea that love, community and connection can change lives and lead to a brighter future.

These young students learned about college from CCSU students, had fun, discovered their own passion for learning and doing, and began to dream about "finishing the race."

You can be a part of 2018's Finish the Race. Your donation of $100 will allow one child to have this memorable college experience and will contribute to reaching our $40,000 goal.

Who is Ana Grace?

Ana Grace is the beloved daughter of Jimmy Greene and Nelba Márquez-Greene and younger sister of devoted brother, Isaiah. Her life on earth was ended at Sandy Hook School on December 14, 2012 – a day forever etched in our collective conscious. For more information about Ana and the Ana Grace Project, click here.
